We only bought this boat in May 04, prior to that it had been moored in Molfre on Anglesy and boasted a rather "macho" 75hp Johnson 2 stroke which took her up on the plane with considerable ease. However my good lady decided that this wasn't the relaxing and care-free sailing she so required and insisted the boat be brought inland and used on the considerable local canal network we enjoy around the Manchester area. "Owd Bozz", as we renamed her after our beloved and sadly departed border collie, is now moored at the Portland Basin marina, which is located at the junction of the Ashton and the Peak Forest canals, and of course spends the weekends cruising the above mentioned waterways at the rather tranquil and somehow regal speed of 4mph, powered by a seemingly tiny 4 stroke Honda 7.5hp, and boasting what we believe to be her first ever boat safety certificate.
